Life is what you make it.

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don’t want to believe that. But if you’re over age twenty-one, your life is what you’re making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.   -John C. Maxwell

If you want to change anything about your life, if you are unhappy with any part of your life, now is the time to change it!

  2. Someone involved in handing out Christian literature received permission from the owner to put a tract rack in a corner store. A few moments later he looked back and saw one of the employees pull out one of the tracts and start reading it.
He said, “Don’t read that! Unless you want to change your life.”
The employee answered, “Doesn’t everyone want to change their life?”
I agree that priorities are at the root of change or improvement, but some priorities can be very demanding even though they aren’t worthy of our time or attention. I HAVE to do this, even though I’d rather be doing something else. Right now I’d like to raise “keeping my house in order” to a higher priority than “writing & blogging.” However, I do tend to gravitate toward what I most enjoy.
