A haiku moment about forgetting.

wedding ring is at home
but a band remains

Have you ever been two blocks away from your house, and you wonder why your hands feel weird? Then you squeeze the steering wheel and realize it is because you forgot to put on your wedding ring. This happened to me, a couple of times, on a day when I was running late and was not able to go back and get my ring.

This a picture is of mine and my husband’s rings, on the corner of a small quilt that my great great aunt made for us and gave to me at my bridal shower.
