Small Stones Poetry

Drifting

You assume my anchor
is dug into the silt
that my feet are stuck
in the sucking mud
but I’m drifting.

I have written quite a few poems from prompts that I have found on Twitter. Some of them are haiku, some of them are tanka, and some of them don’t really have a form. I will be sharing them here, in the “Other Poems” category. Follow me on Twitter to see more, or subscribe by email not to miss them as I post them to my blog.
