Anti-Love on Day 7 of #NaPoWriMo

empty trellis, garden trellis

Thank you for all of the support yesterday!! I had a record number of Likes for 1 day on the blog, which was 29 Likes.

So I thought that you guys might want to be able to find all of my National Poetry Month posts at once. To make it easy for you to do that, I am going to tag all of this year’s National Poetry Writing Month poems with NaPoWriMo2015. Look under the title at the little words, then click on that word and it will bring up all of those posts.

Here is today’s poem; we had the choice to write a love poem, or an anti-love poem. If you’ve been following me for very long you know that love poems aren’t really my thing. So, of course, I went with an anti-love poem.

  Trellis

the trellis stands still

waiting for the vine to climb

and twist inside

one of his many spaces

but she just lays on the ground
