I agree with Lucinda, who is a songwriter. You have to know yourself; know your weaknesses and your fears, if you want your writing to be good. You don’t necessarily have to share all of the details of your life, but you can use it to make your writing more realistic. Sometimes you should confront the dark parts of your story head on. It makes for good blog posts, poems, and songs. I thought this would be a good quote to share this weekend since we are in the middle of National Poetry Writing Month.
