Gardening or pruning my trees always makes me feel better. It also inspires my poetry, and sometimes I hear from God when working with my flowers. What happens to you when you work in the garden or flowerbed?

  1. The garden is like a little world all its own. Lots of interesting creatures inhabit this world and interact with each other — and here I am, the Giant, observing it all. Having the power to destroy their little nests or to let alone. So I suppose gardening gives me this little sense of compassion as well as scope. Also the benefactor and rescuer, saving weaker plants from bullying, throttling weeds. 🙂
