Haiku in the Herd

cow figurine,cow in flowerbed,

Walmart bread aisle

This was written in 2015 for NaHaiWriMo. It may be a little mean, but if you’ve ever been in Walmart on a busy night, you know how I was feeling when I wrote this. Speaking of National Haiku Writing Month, it’s right around the corner!! I will participate, how about you? Leave me a comment telling me why, or why not.

  1. I’m a poet too, but haiku is simply not my forte. A slam poets group I belonged to did a Haiku Death Match that was hysterical to watch, but I just sold books on that night! I suspect I’m too long-winded. Love it, though!
